Description:
Egg & Spoon Race is a fabulous party game that's fun for all ages! To play, choose a starting line and finish line - it's best if these are at least 10 feet apart. String, yarn, or rope work well to mark these lines. All players choose a color egg and matching spoon. Put a beanbag "yolk" inside your egg, and close the eggshells. Balance the egg on your spoon, hold your spoon in one hand, and stand behind the starting line. A game leader shorts, "Ready, set, go!" All players hurry to reach the finish line while balancing their eggs. The first player to reach the finish line without dropping his/her egg is the winner! Remember, you can only use one hand to balance the egg on the spoon! Game variations include having players hop on one foot, walk backwards, or turn in circles toward the finish line!
