Mom and I always played this when I was home from School.
This is a great card game because the opportunity to come from behind and win by messing with you opponent is always there.

The artwork in this one is a throwback--much better than the cheeseball stuff they're putting out in the new versions. The game is great: easy to learn, competitive but not nasty, and not too complex.

This is a great family game, especially for kids & parents. My sister and I played this all the time with our parents when we were kids, and now my wife and I love it also. We play a full game almost every evening!

Great Childhood Memories!
I have been looking for this game for the past 20 years and not able to find it anywhere. I grew up playing it with my mom and brothers and cant wait to share a childhood favorite with my children and them to pass on this tradition. Remember thinking I could speak French as a little girl. I always dreamt of playing this game with my kids when I grew up. Now I have a ten-year old and I taught it to him. He loved it! Easy to learn and strategy is common-sense. A great bonding experience!

after 20 years this game is still being played at every family gathering
When I was 8 my aunt taught me my sister and cousin to play this game and from that day on, we play every holiday but now instead of it being the four of us, we have three generations playing. I can't imagine a holiday without it. The funny thing is we only have 2 games so every holiday the phone call goes around to make sure it shows up, this game really brings the family together, the problem is it's hard to find because they don't sell it anywhere. Until today I finally found the third set. I recommend this game to all ages.

Lots of Fun for all ages !
We used to play this game in French class (some of the words on the cards are in French). That doesn't matter though - all you need to understand for this game, is colors and numbers. That's about all I remember, except that it was lots of fun !
Oh and it also has a lot to do with cars, so anyone who likes races or cars... Will like this game even more =)

Most fun family game ever!
We still play Mille Bornes with the original cards (1962 version). My husband of 33 yrs and I played this game with my parents for years and now our grown children love to come home when they can to play with us! It's a family affair!! We are now purchasing the Collector's Edition for our children.

When my seven-year-old daughter asked if we could play a game that wasn't a kids game I pulled out Mille Bornes. She loves playing it and teaching it to her friends. Not only is it fun but it also teaches her to add big numbers. She really enjoys that she can now play one of mom and dads games.

Hats off to the guys that changed the artwork from that ugly modern version they thought of. Love the game. Played it as a child in the 70's and now a whole new generation loves it too. Great to see it still around.

I am so excited to gift this to my family for Christmas this year! While playing other card games with my husband and children over the years, I have told them many times of the great joy I had growing up playing this game with my parents, sister, and grandparents. I have told them for o long, if I ever came across this game, I would buy it for them. Each year I buy us "a family gift", which we unwrap together, usually a game, or something we all have wanted, and this will be part of our this year, along with a few other games. They will be pleasantly surprised.

The greatest card game, ever!
I'm 40 years old and used to play this game when I was a kid. We used to play Uno as well, but this game is still the best of all times. My family started playing Uno again lately and it got me thinking about this game again. If you're an Uno (card game) fan, then this will give you quadruple the fun.

These are the hardest cards to find, but well worth the trouble...
Like every other reviewer, I played this game as a child with my family and my Aunts family too! We got together every weekend with veggie trays and chips, dips, and finger sandwiches so no one would have to stop playing to fix snacks! We had two decks, one for the adults and the other for the children. We all looked forward to playing and my sister and I have been searching for them for years to start up the tradition with our families. I'm so excited I have found them I am buying everyone a deck for Christmas this year!!!!

my family has played this game so much we went through about 5 decks of cards. i have looked everywhere for this game so my children could learn it and enjoy it as i did. i do wish they would start back to selling it in the stores again.
