Game contents include a game board, five player boards, a governor card and eight role cards (settler, mayor, builder, craftsman, trader, captain and two prospectors), 49 buildings, 56 doubloons, 58 island tiles, a colonist ship, 100 colonists, a trading house, 50 goods (including tobacco, coffee and sugar), five cargo ships, 50 VIP chips and a full-color instruction booklet. it never gets old
Puerto Rico, in my opinion, boasts one strong advantage over almost any other game. There is almost no luck involved. No die rolls, no drawing of cards or random events. You see every players strengths and weaknesses, now it's up to you to work with that knowledge.

The set up and learning process only sounds a tad bit intimidating, but easily gives way to a fun and strategic game. This is one of the best games I have ever played. I look forward to going to a friend's house and seeing this box. This is a must have for any game player or collector.
