Getting the most words gives you the "last word" in this fun family game! Nab It challenges you to link your colored tiles to create words crossword-style and then steal words from your opponents by stacking your tiles on top of theirs. Great game - VERY portable!
This game plays like classic UPWORDS in that you can stack a letter tile on top of another letter tile to change a word. What makes this game great is that there's NO gameboard - the tiles link together really smoothly. Also, scoring is only at the END of the game, with a player getting points for a tile stack if their color tile (each player gets the same let mix - very fair) is atop a letter stack (limit: 5 high). This means there's not a slow down for scoring DURING the game. Nice. And no gameboard means great travel portability. We love it!

Fun game, but instructions are confusing.
We had a fun time playing this game. Always said I wish upwords had a bigger board like scrabble but with stacking. Finally got my wish! The instructions are not too good. Couldn't figure out what the gray "bank" tiles were for.
