I got this game to play with my friends over the weekend. I have played other murder mystery games, and I had a blast. Unfortunately this game wasn't very fun or creative.

The game was short (1.5 hours instead of 3-4 hours for other games), the ending was not complicated, and it was just disappointing overall.

I would recommend "Lethal Luau" or "The Good, the Bad and the Guilty".

This was FUN TO DIE FOR!
We did this for our adult children's birthday party (27 and 29!!) Everyone got into their roles and we ended up having a blast! Of course, I went all out with the details, sending suspiscious and suspensful e-mails to the characters all week. We had all come up with GREAT costumes...and props galore...prizes, favors, etc. Snow, fake boots, even a crime scene with yellow caution tape and a chalked body outline!! It proves that the good old-fashioned parlour room games really work!!! Even those less inclined to indulge in 'game playing' just played right along! We can't wait to do this at our next family gathering...OK, OK, so the alcohol helped a little...but NO ONE guessed the murderer correctly!! you guessed it...the murderer won our Super Sleuth prize...for fooling everyone!
Go out and get this was our first time, too!!!

It was okay.
I bought this game because of another Bepuzzled Murder Mystery game "Pasta, Passion & Pistols", which was excellent. But, "The Icicle Twist" was relatively disappointing. "Pasta, Passion & Pistols" gave you dialogue to go through, which is good for those of us with less acting talent, questions to ask in a particular order, and the CD summarized each scene to make sure everyone got it. "The Icicle Twist" had none of these things, so it was easy to go off on tangents and the person questioned often didn't have enough information to answer the question.

This game is awesome. I went to a birthday party of which was the icicle twist. I was Samantha Westin and I was amazed of how much everyone got into their part. The person who was the murderer was the one least expected. There were even clues leading to me that I was the murderer! This was one of the best birthday parties I've ever been too! The icicle twist is fantastic! It was so realistic too. I felt I was really Samantha Westin. The costume suggestions helped alot too. It helped everyone get into character. If your looking for a birthday party idea, this is the way to go!
