Discover the magical world of Eric Carle through The Very Hungry Caterpillar Card Game! Players of all ages will enjoy this intriguing game (all while learning the days of the week!) which follows the caterpillar as he eats his way through fruits and party foods and, just like in the book, turns into a beautiful butterfly! Kids take turns playing their "food" cards, following the story's progression: Party foods my slow you down, but a nice green leaf will always help a player along. The first one to give up all their cards wins. Includes 54 cards and instructions. For 2 or more players. Ages 3 and up.

to difficult for recomended age & unclear directions
Recommended Age is 3+ but most 3 year olds cant read. The cards are large for small hands and have a large border so it is difficult to hold them in a way that you can see what you are holding (imagine playing cards with no small numbers in the corners) Directions are unclear meaning they are open to interpretation. We played the game with many slight rule changes or interpretations. The game is a nice idea...but expect to sit down with the kids until you figure out a way the game works for you.

Super cute game.
Easy game that still captures the interest of my 3 and 5 year old girls.

Kids love it.
My kids love the bright illustrations on these cards and this is a great educational game too.
