Description:
Why do we say that someone who is fired "gets the sack"? This, my friends, is what is known as an Imponderable®. It is something we are all familiar with but almost no one knows why it is so. In this game, you don't need to know the answer to this Imponderable, you only need to convince the other players you know it. So your powers of persuasion and your poker face will serve you far better than the facts. The real reason we use "the sack" expression? Because ancient Romans used to punish their criminals by putting them in sacks and dumping them in the river. Learn all kinds of interesting facts while you lie to your friends! The game comes with 942 questions on 314 cards, 6 bluff cards, 42 voting chips, 6 concealing folders, a scorepad, a die and rules. For 3 to 6 players.

Great game! Malarky is good for all ages and diverse groups of people...individual play or teams for even more fun. Those friends you know who are always BS'ing you and then saying they're "kidding" -- this is the game they'll excel at. You just have to convince other players you know what you're talking about even when you have no idea ... it can really get hilarious! --JudyAnn from Northern Virginia
Fun game where you can learn about words I like word games which is what Malarky is. It also allows you to score for bluffing if you're good at it. I found a way to simplify the game. The person asking the question gives a verbal answer. Everyone then votes as to whether that person is telling the truth or bluffing. Use the red and black chips - red is right and black is bluff. It speeds up the game. You don't have to remember up to six definitions of a word, and you don't have to pass out pencils and paper. Other than that, it's a good game with a wide variety of words. --Mike C. from New York City
